Project Manager for Executive Projects
Collier Roberts is the project manager for executive projects in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Government and Community Relations. In this role, he manages strategic initiatives, oversees high-profile campus engagements and cultivates relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
His previous roles at Vanderbilt include government relations program manager and communications coordinator in the Offices of Federal Relations and State Government Relations. In these positions Roberts developed and executed the communications and on-campus advocacy strategy for Vanderbilt’s federal and state government relations.
Roberts is a dynamic government and community relations professional with a proven track record of managing high-impact initiatives and cultivating influential relationships to advance Vanderbilt’s strategic priorities.
Before joining Vanderbilt, Roberts worked in the Office of Legislative Affairs and General Counsel for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. His political experience also includes roles as a research analyst for a Nashville-based political consulting firm, Direct Edge Campaigns, and as a government relations aide at Farrar & Bates, LLP.
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Roberts earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Belmont University, where he was a member of the university’s baseball and track and field teams. He and his wife, Marissa, have three children.
