OLLI at Vanderbilt welcomes Jenelle Spicer as new program coordinator

Vanderbilt’s Division of Government and Community Relations is pleased to announce Jenelle Spicer as the new program coordinator for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). In this role, Jenelle will assist with the daily management and coordination of OLLI's dynamic programs, designed to engage and inspire adults 50 and over.

Jenelle brings a wealth of experience in event planning and community engagement. Most recently, she served as special events manager at Thistle Farms, where she planned, coordinated and executed events and projects that raised funds for the impactful work of the local nonprofit. Before that, Jenelle spent 15 years with Vanderbilt's Catering and Events team, where she orchestrated events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, earning national recognition and multiple industry awards.

Jenelle holds a bachelor of science from Middle Tennessee State University. A proud Nashville native, she is dedicated to roles that support and enhance local communities. Her career reflects her passion for building and creating community through memorable, impactful events and programming that foster meaningful connections and learning opportunities.
