Vanderbilt University’s Division of Government and Community Relations announces the addition of Gwendolyn Zwirko to the Office of Federal Relations. She joins the Washington, D.C.-based team as office manager and directly supports the federal relations team in advancing the university’s advocacy priorities. She is responsible for meeting the administrative needs of the office and managing special projects.
Zwirko joins Vanderbilt after a relocation from Boston to the D.C. area. She will expand upon her previous experience as the Operations Coordinator at SpineVision Inc. to manage Vanderbilt’s Office of Federal Relations office space and maintain its daily operations. With a background in art history and years of administrative experience in both small business and corporate spaces, she brings a passion for organization, communication, and research to her work.
Zwirko holds a bachelor’s degree in art history and Italian studies from Wellesley College, and a master’s degree in art history from Syracuse University’s Florence Program in Italian Renaissance Art.
