We are pleased to announce an exciting development for the Division of Government and Community Relations. We have relocated our main offices from 2007 Terrace Place to a new state-of-the-art space right across the street on the 10th floor of the Baker Building, 110 21st Ave South. This move not only reflects our commitment to fostering collaboration but also aligns with our dedication to supporting the evolving needs of our team members in the modern work landscape.
Championing Collaborative Workspace Design
We believe that the best ideas flourish in an environment that encourages open dialogue and teamwork. Our dedication to collaborative workspace design is exemplified by our brand-new office space, where team members from Community Relations, Local Government Relations, State Government Relations, and Federal Relations can work side-by-side. In this co-working space, barriers are dissolved to create a seamless exchange of ideas. This dynamic setting will undoubtedly enhance our ability to work together and develop innovative strategies to positively impact our community.
Introducing Jenny Freundt, Office Manager
We are excited to introduce Jenny Freundt as the new office manager for Baker Suite 1001. With her extensive experience in project management and team coordination, Jenny will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our new workspace.
Freundt joins us from Nashville Electric Service where she was a project coordinator and analyst for the past two years. Prior to that, she spent three years as assistant director of operations in the marketing and communications department at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Jenny obtained a Business Management degree from DePaul University where she also worked as a departmental assistant for the legal clinics.
Furthermore, we are delighted to announce that we are sharing this vibrant office space with our colleagues from the Division of Communications and Marketing. This co-location reflects our commitment to cross-functional collaboration and presents exciting opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement that will only strengthen our collective impact. As office manager for our entire suite, Jenny Freundt will ensure effective and efficient operations for both divisions.
Supporting the Hybrid Work Model
Recognizing the changing nature of work, we are also committed to embracing the hybrid work model. This new office space is designed to accommodate both in-person and remote collaboration. Flexibility is at the heart of our approach while also ensuring that our team members can maintain the high level of productivity and engagement we are known for.
Modern Video Conferencing
Our new office is equipped with a high-tech "phone booth" designed for video conferences. This soundproof environment ensures crystal-clear communication during virtual meetings, enabling our team to participate in video conferences without distractions or external noise. This addition aligns perfectly with our dedication to adapting to the co-working model while maintaining the highest standards of communication and professionalism.
A Hub for Community Engagement
One of the hallmarks of our new office is the abundance of meeting spaces that will facilitate interactions with our valued community partners. Whether it's discussing initiatives with local government officials or engaging in dialogue with stakeholders from the community, our new space is equipped to foster productive discussions and forge lasting connections that drive positive change.
Visitor Parking for Easy Access
We understand the importance of convenient access for our community partners and guests. Our new office location has ample visitor parking, ensuring that anyone visiting us will find it easy to connect and collaborate without the hassle of searching for parking spaces.
Our commitment to collaboration, adaptability, and fostering relationships remains as strong as ever. We look forward to the endless possibilities that this dynamic workspace will unlock and the positive impact it will have on our partnerships and initiatives.
