In this study center In this program, facilitated by CIEE, students enroll in 6 semester hours of coursework in Cape Town, a microcosm of many African countries in transition, illuminting the issue of joining the global economy while grappline with vast socioeconomic inequalities. Students live with other students and a residential advisor in CIEE apartments. Students leave this program with a strong grasp of South African history, politics, educational challenges, and values and traditions.
