Sam Parson

In his current role as a Law Fellow for the Office of the General Counsel, (OGC), Sam is responsible for collaborating with fellow OGC attorneys and resolving legal issues in areas such as intellectual property, procurement, and athletics.

Sam Parson received his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in English and Political Science from The University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University, where he was a research assistant and participated in Moot Court. Prior to joining the OGC, Sam worked at the Stanton First Amendment Clinic where he represented clients as a student attorney in First Amendment matters. He also worked at a boutique entertainment law firm based in Los Angeles as a law clerk for film and TV clients. Sam is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Tennessee. In his free time, Sam enjoys reading and playing music. While in law school, Sam could often be found going back and forth from the Divinity School Library to the Chipotle on Grand Ave.
