In his role as Managing Counsel, Chris Lowe is responsible for managing the transactions team and advising on legal matters primarily related to Campus Planning and Construction, Purchasing, and the relationship between the University and the Medical Center.
Chris received his undergraduate degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. Prior to joining Vanderbilt University’s Office of the General Counsel, Chris worked at Healthways, Inc., where he served as Operations Counsel. He was also previously a partner in the law firm King & Ballow in Nashville, TN.
Chris is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Chris is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
