Title: Assistant General Counsel
Arrin Richards serves as Assistant General Counsel for Vanderbilt University. Mr. Richards received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Morehouse College, and a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt Law School. After earning his Bachelor's degree, Mr. Richards worked as a Financial Analyst with Cambridge Associates in Arlington, Virginia.
Mr. Richards joined Vanderbilt as Assistant General Counsel in September 2016 after completing a year-long legal fellowship in the Office of the General Counsel. Mr. Richards's practice focuses on university policies, higher education compliance, employment law issues, contract compliance, and other general legal matters. In addition to his responsibilities as Assistant General Counsel, Mr. Richards is a board member of the Nashville Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Napier-Looby Bar Association.
