FutureVU Kickoff Town Hall

On December 7, 2015, Chancellor Zeppos hosted a campus-wide town hall to discuss Vanderbilt’s FutureVU plan with over 110 faculty, staff, and students in attendance.  Vice Chancellor for Administration Eric Kopstain and landscape architect Robert Waits presented on the history of the university and its past land use planning processes.  Pelli Clarke Pelli Associates led attendees through a brainstorming session where the following questions were explored:

  • Think about your daily experience of the Vanderbilt campus: What are the good and the bad moments of this experience?
  • If you could change one characteristic or element of the campus, what would it be?
  • Where do you enter campus, and at what point do you feel you are on campus?
  • Where is the center or heart of the Vanderbilt campus, in your opinion?
