Payne Hall
“Payne Hall has long been home to Peabody College’s acclaimed programs in leadership and policy,” said Camilla P. Benbow, Patricia and Rodes Hart Dean of Education and Human Development. “We are excited to revitalize this historic building for a new era of innovative scholarship, collaboration and teaching.”
Peabody College’s Payne Hall is undergoing an extensive interior renovation and modernization of the building’s systems. Built in the early 1950s, Payne Hall historically housed many of Peabody’s classrooms and faculty offices. The last major renovation of Payne Hall was an interior renovation and upgrade to the mechanical systems in 1986.
