I study the evolution of marine mammal sensory systems using a combination of fossil and developmental data, primarily derived from CT scans that provide insights on internal anatomy. One facet of my research has centered on estimating hearing sensitivity in marine mammals using morphology and comparisons with audiogram measurements and recordings from the wild.
