The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is responsible for advocating for institutional change, working with university stakeholders to set goals and institutionalize accountability, and ensuring that equity, diversity and inclusion efforts are coordinated throughout the university.

The office works collaboratively with all of the vice chancellors as well as with the Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Community to ensure Vanderbilt’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion is realized.
