Repeat Credit/No Credit
Undergraduate Schools
Most courses offered in the undergraduate schools are eligible to be repeated for grade replacement purposes.
Certain courses may be repeated for credit, as indicated in the course description.
If a course was failed the last time it was taken, credit is awarded when the course is repeated with a passing grade. If a course was previously passed, no new credit is earned. If a course previously passed is repeated and failed, credit originally earned for it is lost.
All grades earned are shown on the transcript, but only the most recent grade is used in determining credit, in computing the grade point average, and in verifying the completion of degree requirements and progress toward the degree.
Specific policies and conditions for repeat credit are defined at the school level. For more information, please consult the Undergraduate Catalog.
Credit is subject to forfeit if the conditions for repeat are not met.
