Hello Vanderbilt,

It’s campaign season! Between now and September 26, candidates for Vanderbilt Student Government Senate will be hitting the campaign trail to talk with students about campus issues, their proposals, and why they’re the best choice for the job.

That means that on Wednesday, September 27, you will have the opportunity to vote for your residential, MLC, transfer community, and academic college senators. This will be done through an AnchorLink form that will be sent out via email on that day. Voting will only be available on the 27th.

If you’re not sure who’s running to represent you, check out the Nonpartisan Candidate Database. Here you can see the candidates in each race as well as their issue platforms.

During the next week, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to meet these candidates as they make social media posts, table at dining halls, and engage in house events. Don’t be afraid to let them know what you think the biggest issues on campus are. That input is invaluable to determining what VSG focuses on each year.
