This “productivity slump,” as some may call it, comes with a few interesting statistics. According to research, productivity in the workplace plummets by 20%, attendance drops to 19%, and employees are 45% percent more distracted than usual. Imagine that!
As many of you are already doing, we’d like to encourage you to fit in some time for professional development. After all, it won’t be long before summer’s over and fall appears and fills up your calendars.

Want to brush up on and practice your interviewing skills? Wondering if your responses are truly conveying your skills and experiences? Or wondering what it’s like to interview via newer interviewing technology like SparkHire (a recorded interview screening tool used by Vanderbilt)?
We invite you to meet with a talent acquisition consultant for a 45-minute mock interview. In individual sessions, a consultant will provide feedback on your interview and tips on interview preparation. When signing up for a time slot, you may choose to have a live mock interview with feedback during the session, or to experience a SparkHire interview prior to the session and discuss feedback during the session.
*Mock interviews are confidential with the sole purpose of practicing interviewing; consultants are not acting as career coaches, and will not provide advice around the types of roles you might want to apply for, insight into departments, etc. Additionally, consultants will not speak to active job postings or applications.
