Gillette Residents,
Thank you again for your patience and cooperation as we continue to respond to the incident that occurred overnight in Gillette. Please see the below important updates.
Housing:
At this time, you should plan to stay at the Hayes Street Hotel tonight. You may return to your room to get needed items. We are working to get a timeframe of how long you should expect to be housed elsewhere.
Shuttle Service:
The shuttle will run on a continuous loop stopping at the Hayes Street Hotel, Gillette Circle on the Commons, and Kirkland Circle on main campus until 6 p.m. tonight (September 15). The shuttle will run from 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. tomorrow (September 16). If you need transportation after these hours, please call 615-322-2745 to arrange free transportation to and from the Hayes Street Hotel and campus.
Dining:
$25 has been added to your Commodore Cash to be used to order dinner on Grubhub. We understand it may be difficult to access on campus dining facilities for dinner while you are staying off campus, so we hope this helps tonight.
RA Support:
As always, your RA is still available to support you. The RA on duty is available from 5 p.m. – 8 a.m. at (615) 566-4747.
As more information is available, including how to submit claims for damaged items and when you will be permitted back into your space, it will be communicated via this email address.
