Python Working Group
Meets alternate Wednesdays, 1:00-2:00 pm, in the Digital Humanities Center (344 Buttrick Hall)
If you’ve ever wanted to program in Python but haven’t had an opportunity to try, if you’ve wondered how to get started with coding for humanities research, or if you’d just like to learn more about how computers work in a casual, supportive atmosphere, come to the Python working group. The group will slowly work through a series of entry-level tutorials throughout the Fall semester, with an eye to developing individual text and data analysis projects in the Spring.
