Spatial Analysis Working Group

Syriac Manuscript Cataloging in TEI XML Working Group
Oct. 2, 2019—The Syriac Manuscript Cataloging Group is developing a database of Syriac manuscripts in the British Library, based on a nineteenth century English-language catalog. We meet every Monday in Divinity 256 from 2:30-4:00pm.
Text Analysis Working Group
Oct. 2, 2019—This working group offers a practical introduction to computational tools for text analysis including OCR, data cleaning, coding, text mining software, and network visualization platforms. Fort Negley Working Group: Digital Tools for Social Engagement
Oct. 2, 2019—This Working Group provides technological support for the Fort Negley Descendants Project, including gathering and editing video interviews, managing digitized document archives, and creating interfaces for crowdsourcing the transcription of the Fort's historical records.
