    The Graduate School Commencement:
    Day: Friday, May 10, 2024
    Time: 11 a.m.
    Location: Alumni Lawn (2205 West End Ave. Nashville, TN 37240)
    NO tickets are required for this event!
    Ceremony: All graduates will walk across the stage to be recognized during the ceremony. Ph.D. students will be hooded by faculty members. The ceremony will be live-streamed for guests who wish to attend virtually.
    Check-in: Graduate School staff will be on Alumni Lawn to welcome you and check you in from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Please arrive at check-in, in your full regalia. At the designated check-in tables you will pick up your procession card. This card will have your name, degree, some brief information, and a number
    Graduate Portraits: Photos will be taken at the ceremony as graduates walk across the stage and after they exit the stage.
    Bubbly and Berries Reception: Our reception will take place immediately following our ceremony on Alumni Lawn. Family members and guests are invited to attend. To be served alcohol, all graduates and guests must be carded and receive a wristband that designates them as over 21. Graduates will be carded at check-in to expedite the process; please bring proper identification if you wish to enjoy champagne at the reception.
