Breaking Developments

As we count down the final days to Vanderbilt AI Days 2025, we’re thrilled to share three major developments that make this year’s event even more significant:

1. Provost Cybele Raver to Deliver Opening Address
In a demonstration of Vanderbilt’s institutional commitment to AI advancement, Provost Cybele Raver will deliver the opening address on Wednesday morning. Her participation underscores the university-wide importance of this gathering and Vanderbilt’s strategic investment in AI research and education.

2. Major Corporate Sponsorships Secured
We’re proud to announce our partnership with leading technology innovators whose support makes AI Days possible. Oracle will sponsor our daily lunch sessions, HP will power the AI Showcase and Reception, and Lenovo has joined as a general sponsor providing essential technology resources. These partnerships create valuable opportunities for attendees to connect with industry leaders throughout the event.

3. Timely Focus on This Week’s Breakthrough AI Model
The timing couldn’t be better—this week’s release of a groundbreaking frontier AI model with unprecedented reasoning capabilities will be featured throughout the conference. Sessions will explore how this leap forward impacts research, education, and industry applications, giving attendees immediate insights into the most cutting-edge developments in the field.

Limited Seating Remains

With registration numbers surging in recent days, only 50 in-person seats remain available. While virtual participation options exist, the interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and hands-on sessions deliver maximum value to those attending in person.

Comprehensive Program Across Multiple Tracks

The two-day event features four specialized tracks designed to serve diverse interests and expertise levels:

Research & Applications

Deep dives into scientific implementations of AI across disciplines, featuring the Center for Applied AI in Protein Dynamics’s full-day workshop and specialized sessions on reinforcement learning and AI systems architecture.

Teaching and Education

AdvancedED and the Learning Innovation Incubator (LIVE) present practical sessions on AI integration in educational settings, with special focus on course design, student engagement, and AI policy development.

Technical Skills & Training

Hands-on workshops led by Data Science Institute experts and ACCRE specialists cover everything from end-to-end model training to practical secure AI deployment and high-performance computing fundamentals.

Industry & Professional Development

Sessions targeting real-world implementation, including the special four-part “AI for Nonprofits” series and industry-focused panels examining AI’s transformative potential across sectors.

An AI-Infused Experience

What sets AI Days 2025 apart is its innovative approach to event design. AI technologies will actively enhance attendee experiences through:

  • Personalized session recommendations based on registration information
  • AI-facilitated networking that connects participants with shared interests
  • Interactive demonstrations that respond to audience engagement
  • Collaborative AI-assisted grant writing opportunities on day two

The event itself becomes a living demonstration of how AI can augment human connection and creativity—principles that drive Vanderbilt’s approach to AI research and application.
