Event Overview
AI Summer 2024 at the Data Science Institute (DSI) was a monthlong virtual workshop designed to immerse participants in the world of AI models and programming. This free event welcomed researchers, students, and the broader Vanderbilt community, providing a comprehensive introduction to AI model fundamentals, AI-assisted programming, and the intricacies of training and fine-tuning AI models.

Throughout the four weeks, attendees engaged in a variety of sessions:

The workshop was conducted entirely via Zoom, ensuring accessibility for participants from various locations. This structure allowed a wider audience to benefit from the expertise shared during the sessions.
