DSI helping students create AI-generated love poems at event ahead of Valentines day

The revolutionary ChatGPT program has shown the world the power of AI transformers. From essays to screenplays, the work generated by ChatGPT is hard to distinguish from something written by an actual person, even something as personal as a love poem.

The Data Science Institute will be on hand Friday, Feb. 10, at Rand Lounge to help members of the Vanderbilt community experience the technology and celebrate Valentine’s Day by creating their own own AI-generated love poetry. In addition to the poetry, we’ll be using DALL-E to help students make AI-generated temporary tattoos.

The event is also a chance for students to read their own poems or offer critical dialogue about AI in our cultural moment. To take part in the event, please fill out the form in this link.

The event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, in the main dining area of Rand Lounge.
