Matt M.

Matt was born with a very rare tumor (Kaposiform hemangioendesthelioma). He was at Vanderbilt 60 days and had 99 blood transfusions and several rounds of chemotherapy. He was also diagnosed with a blood disorder (Kasabach-Merritt syndrome). Vanderbilt had never had this kind of case before. Matt is a very healthy, athletic child now!
