Award-winning British-Indian author of fiction and non-fiction Rana Dasgupta visited the Curb Center for a “literary conversation” with Professor Ben Tran (Assistant Professor of English and Asian Studies at Vanderbilt) about writing folk-tales in the age of globalization. This event was co-sponsored by the Curb Center, the Asian Studies Program, the Robert Penn Warren Center, The Department of English, and the Department of History at Vanderbilt.
Rana Dasgupta is internationally acclaimed for his innovative prose and his ability to portray the anxieties and instabilities of the globalized world.
