The Nashville Symphony will host the 27th annual Let Freedom Sing Concert on Sunday, January 19th at 7:00 pm. The event honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the achievements of the civil rights movement. The symphony will be joined by Celebration Chorus and Celebration Youth Chorus in a performance of select classical works, songs, and traditionals. The program will also include a poetry reading by Destiny Birdsong of Nashville Public Radio’s Versify Podcast, and conclude with a panel discussion between Choral Arts Link director Margaret Campbelle-Holman, composer Adolphus Hailstork, tenor Roderick L George, and conductor Dr. Henry Panion III, with poet and Curb Creative Writing Fellow Joshua Moore moderating.

Standby seating will be available on the night of the concert. Simply show up at the Box Office 15 minutes before the performance.
