The Resident Scientist Program

The Resident Scientist program is a partnership between the Vanderbilt Collaborative for STEM Education and Outreach and Metro Nashville Public Schools, which places trained research scientists at local middle schools. The Resident Scientists collaborate with teachers to create interactive and engaging interdisciplinary STEAM lesson plans by incorporating authentic data and addressing real-world application.
