Research Spotlight: Carlos Lopez and Tina Iverson
Feb. 7, 2019—CSB researchers Carlos Lopez, Biochemistry, and Tina Iverson, Pharmacology, with Vanderbilt faculty Vsevolod Gurevich, have proposed a “conveyor belt” mechanism to explain how scaffold proteins amplify signal cascades by exchanging active enzymes for inactive ones. Their findings were reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
