Support for Student Programming
Residential Colleges supports student-initiated and student-led programming (e.g., events, displays, speakers, scholarship, art, technology). Students are encouraged to talk to their graduate fellows, faculty directors, head residents, and resident assistants if they have ideas about programming. Faculty and staff affiliates of Residential Colleges also are a great source of ideas, mentorship, and partnership on student-led programs.
In addition to taking up some projects that are suggested by students directly, staff can also walk students through the process of planning and implementing a program, often with monetary and in-kind support as a result of a proposal made by the student organizers.
