Vanderbilt selected to present at COP28-Dubai, UAE
Vanderbilt University students were selected to present at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), known as COP28, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from November 20 – December 12, 2023. Vanderbilt students and faculty presented in a number of forums, and interacted with global leaders, political figures, journalists, scientific experts, and more throughout the two week conference. Students presented on the role of higher education in contributing to climate solutions, and the need for new skills, training, and teaching methods to address this urgent, societal problem.
