4 – General Workflows at the CIT
As a full-service shared resource core we consider our clients as collaborators and provide many custom applications. Figure 1 provides an overview of the general small molecule omic workflows for hypothesis-generating (global untargeted) and hypothesis-validating (targeted) assays.
Once samples are received, CIT personnel will proceed with 1) sample preparation, 2) data acquisition, 3) data processing and analysis, and 4) report generation. The CIT staff aims to tailor data output(s), reports and spreadsheets based on client discussions. We perform numerous basic and advanced data processing tasks.
