01 Vanderbilt Programs for Talented Youth

This is a residential summer program on Vanderbilt's campus for rising 8th to 12th graders.  The program offers curricula in math, science, and the humanities.

Bridgemont

A camp for Christ-centered teaching and outdoor experiences in the Great Smoky mountains.


Camp Country Lad

Camp Country Lad is a unique, rustic camp for boys aged 8-15. The camping experience centers on the "whole boy," not just on the skills he learns. Lasting benefits may be reaped in an atmosphere that is safe and filled with fun and happiness. Country Lad is a place where "boys can be boys."


Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery is a place for mentally and physically challenged kids and adults to experience the wonders of the summer camp setting.


Camp Nakanawa

This is a camp where girls gain confidence and reach their potential in a positive and fun-filled environment.  Junior and senior camps are available.


Camp Widjiwagan

This YMCA camp offers unique, quality adventure.  Day camp is available for 1st through 8th grade children and those in grades 3 through 9 may opt for overnight camp.  Scholarships are available.


Camp Woodmont

Camp Woodmont is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls ages 6 – 14. Our program features traditional summer-camp activities with an emphasis on nature, outdoor adventure, horseback riding, noncompetitive sports, and more. 


Cedar Crest Camp

This camp is operated under the auspices of the United Methodist Church.  A variety of camps are offered during the summer months.


Clyde Austin 4H Center

This week long camp is open to 4-H members who have just completed grades 4 - 6.  Campers enjoy an Olympic-size pool, covered rifle range, a large recreation hall, ball fields, and a basketball court.  Other facilities include a nature center, woodworking shop, crafts center, and a lake for fishing, canoeing, or enjoying a paddle boat ride.


Crystal Springs Camp

This is a Christian camping facility managed by the Cumberland Presbyterian Churches of Tennessee.  There are a variety of programs for all ages.


Doe River Gorge

This camp offers activities for elementary age and teenage children.  Age-related and sequential programs will take them on a journey of self-discovery.  Campers will learn about themselves; their passions, fears, and dreams.


Easter Seals

This camp offers a high-quality recreational camping service for children and adults with disabilities, with fully accessible facilities.  Participation is from age 6 and up.  The trained staff has current CPR and First Aid certifications.


Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont

Indian Creek Camp

This camp has activities for ages 7 - 17.  Choose from horse pack camp, backpacking camp, canoeing the trails of the river, archery, waterskiing, and many others.


Mountain Adventure Guides

This is an all outdoors, co-ed summer adventure camp for teens.  The camp is physically demanding, but average active teens will enjoy the program.


Nash Camp Bluegrass and Songwriting Camp

This program offers study with the world's finest song writers and bluegrass players.  Workshops are fun and intensive, with a choice of songwriting, singing, or instrumental instruction.


North Star Camp for Boys

Informal and flexible, structured but not regimented, the North Star program offers a rich variety of activities and experiences designed to stimulate the imagination and challenge the skills of boys aged 8 to 15. The program reflects North Star's philosophy of giving young people an opportunity to experience adventure in a friendly, noncompetitive place away from the stresses of everyday life.


Tennessee United Methodist Camps

Programs offer day, overnight, and week-long camps, with swimming, outdoor sports, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of other activities.


Valley View Ranch

The purpose of Valley View Ranch is to help each rancher have the full opportunity of horsemanship through instruction in the ring, time in the saddle on trails, and the care and responsibility of having her own ranch horse. Valley View Ranch offer several riding programs for girls ages 8 to 17 and encourage each camper to participate in all of them. Each girl can spend as much time as she likes with her favorite ranch horse during her stay, or she can bring her own. In addition, the voluntary well-rounded recreational program includes eco-education, swimming and canoeing, arts and crafts, archery, pottery, and of course, horsemanship.


Victory Ranch Summer Camp

The Victory Ranch experience creates independence, self-confidence, and character development.  The environment provides a place for kids to play, learn, grow, and have fun.


William H. Ridley 4-H Junior Camp

This one-week camp is open to 4-H members who have just completed grades 4 - 6.  Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins and enjoy an Olympic-sized pool, various ball fields and courts, a wildlife center, and many other facilities.
