Books by Sheryll Cashin

Cashin the daughter of civil rights activists graduated from Vanderbilt in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. While a student, she helped found Vanderbilt’s Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center and Association of Vanderbilt Black Alumni. Cashin served on the Vanderbilt Board of Trust from 2002 to 2012 and was the first African American woman elected as a regular Trustee.
