• Apply: Login to Handshake to view participating companies and register for the experience. 

• Orientation: Attend an orientation session (dates and times will be provided) to prepare for your job shadowing experience. We'll provide you with all the details you need to make the most of your shadowing experience. 

• Job Shadowing: Spend a day or more shadowing your host in their workplace. Ask questions, observe, and learn about the industry firsthand.

• Reflect: After your experience, participate in VandyPASS and earn a new badge with what you've learned and how it impacts your career plans.

• Hands-On Experience: Shadow professionals in Nashville to see what a day in their life is really like. 

• Networking: Build meaningful connections with mentors who can guide you on your career journey. 

• Clarity: Gain clarity about your career goals and what you want to achieve after graduation. 

• Confidence: Boost your confidence by learning from experienced professionals in your field of interest.

• February 5 and February 6: VandyShadow Info Sessions (February 5 at 2:00 PM CT; February 6 at 12:00 PM CT)
• February 3 to February 21: Applications available on Handshake. Click the "Jobs" tab and then search "VandyShadow."
• February 24 to February 28: Hosts confirm participants for their site
• February 28: Email introductions and information packets are dispersed
• March 3 to March 14: Orientation dates (will be available on Handshake)
• March 17 and March 18: Phone-a-thon (Career Center representatives will text/call to ensure you are prepared and answer any questions!)
• March 19 to March 31: VandyShadow
• April 1 to April 8: Reflection and program survey
