Facilities University

Facilities University is a series of classes that educate the Vanderbilt Community on how the Facilities Department supports the university’s mission. Attendees take a deeper look at the four facilities’ departments, Vanderbilt University Maintenance and Operations (VUMO), Business Operations, Vanderbilt University Real Estate (VURE) and Campus Planning and Construction (CPC) and how they work together. Each class includes hands-on activities such as tours of the Vanderbilt University Arboretum and powerhouse. FacilitiesU is a total of six classes, and although attendance is not mandatory it is highly encouraged that you attend all the sessions. The program takes place at the Baker Building 11th floor on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m
