Summer Flex Schedule at Brightspace Support
Have you heard about the Chancellor’s summer flex schedule policy? While most of the CFT will be open as usual on Friday afternoons this summer, the Brightspace support team will be taking advantage of the policy to rearrange our staff hours during the months of June and July.
For the next two months, Brightspace support will be available Sunday evenings 5pm-11pm, Monday through Thursday 7am-11pm, and Fridays 7am-noon. The only difference from our regular schedule is that we will be closing shop Fridays at noon, instead of our usual 5pm.
Starting August 1, we will be back to our regular support hours. In fact, we will have a whole new menu of workshops and support options available for August, so keep your eye on the Brightspace Workshops page on the CFT website to learn more or register for an upcoming event.

Will the Sunday night support be online support via email?
How do I post course content (in the old Blackboard system, one “submitted.”) I am not seeing the button for posting.

Hi Susan. Yes, we offer support via email through brightspace@vanderbilt.edu Sunday 5-11pm. In person and phone support are business hours only. You can find more info here: https://www.vanderbilt.edu/brightspace/brightspace-support/

Generally, you can drag and drop your file into a module, or use the blue Upload/Create button.
