Friday, March 13th Email Outage
On Friday, March 13th, Blackboard experienced a problem sending emails. Due to an issue in the data center hosting Vanderbilt’s Blackboard installation, emails sent through Blackboard between 8:20 am and 12:10 pm were, unfortunately, not delivered. That includes emails sent to students during this time.
The problem has been resolved and email functionality has been restored. However, all emails sent during the outage were lost. You should re-send any emails you sent through Blackboard during the outage time frame: Friday, March 13th, from 8:20 am to 12:10 pm.
