Before coming to Vanderbilt, Marisa attended Smith College’s Center for Women in Mathematics Postbaccalaureate Program, where she expanded her statistics and data science knowledge. Her current research interests include pharmacometrics and electronic health records. She is also passionate about mentorship, specifically with high school and college students who may not have heard of biostatistics previously. In her free time she enjoys playing flute and piccolo, exploring botanical gardens, keeping up with women’s soccer, and spending time with her cat.
