Kirsten Cottingham is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. While a student at Meharry, she conducted research projects focused on Rasch Model analysis and simulation models. Her interests include applied statistical methods in public health and medicine, causal inference, health outcomes, and survival and event history analysis. She is passionate about health disparities, health care disparities, and cancer. In her free time, she enjoys community service, playing tennis, traveling, reading, and exploring Nashville.
