The BCC Celebrates and honors Juneteenth, a federally recognized holiday commemorating the date on which the last remaining enslaved people in the United States were informed of their freedom under the Emancipation Proclamation. Each year, on the Friday Before June 19th, the BCC Celebrates Juneteenth with a campus event that includes Juneteenth decor, food trucks, music, and a generally fun and celebratory atmosphere. Check back on this page regularly for more specific updates about the event.
