Vanderbilt Autism and Neurodiversity Alliance (VANA)
Vanderbilt Autism & Neurodiversity Alliance (VANA)
The Vanderbilt Autism & Neurodiversity Alliance, or VANA, is a student-led organization created to support the Vanderbilt community, including undergraduates, grad students, staff, faculty, and those in the Vanderbilt area with an autism or other neurodiversity, both those who have a formal diagnosis and those who suspect they may be autistic or neurodivergent.
The group meets at the Wond’ry twice a month. Though self-advocates are encouraged, VANA respects the wishes of those members who wish to keep their neurodiversity private.
This group was formed in September of 2018, and as a democratic body, their scope and efforts will be detailed by consensus in future meetings.

Vanderbilt Autism Roadmap for Students (VARS)
We are currently working with various student support offices across campus to develop a roadmap for Vandy students on the autism spectrum to more seamlessly navigate their Vanderbilt experience from incoming freshmen through to graduation and into employment.
