Autism Summer Internship

The Frist Center hosts a cohort of interns each summer as a part of a collaboration between Fisk and Vanderbilt Universities. Both program participants and mentors are selected for the internship, which focuses on STEM learning and research. Participants must be autistic young adults (18+ years old) with an interest in science. Mentors must either be currently completing or have just completed their bachelor’s degree and have a STEM background. Autistic mentor applicants are encouraged, but you do not have to be on the autism spectrum to be selected as a mentor.

If anyone has questions about this program, feel free to contact Frist Center Associate Director Dr. Dave Caudel at david.d.caudel@vanderbilt.edu.
