Join fellow Vanderbilt volunteer leaders for a special gathering in Nashville. Attend valuable volunteer group sessions, learn more about Vanderbilt’s incredible momentum from university leaders, network with fellow alumni and parents, and enjoy exclusive tours of new campus spaces.

Friday February 28, 2025

  • Admissions Walking Tour (Optional Activity)

    10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
    Starting Location: Office of Undergraduate Admissions
    Ending Location: Owen Graduate School of Management

    Arriving early? Join current students for an engaging tour of campus - learn about the student experience today, and connect over longtime favorites, as well as new ones! Attendees should plan on walking outside, mostly on sidewalks, for the duration of the tour. The tour will begin at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, ending at the Owen Graduate School of Management.

  • Lunch and Conversation with University Leadership

    12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
    The Great Room, Owen Graduate School of Management

    Join university leadership for a luncheon conversation about the university, with opportunities to ask questions and gain a greater understanding of Vanderbilt's priorities.

  • Insiders Vanderbilt

    2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    Various Locations

    Join us for exclusive tours and talks at signature campus locations. Reservations will be on a first come, first-served basis.

    What’s New in the Neighborhood

    Join Bob Grummon, Team Leader of Capital Projects, for a tour of the latest in residential housing, including the newly announced Central Neighborhood.

    One Small Step

    Join One Small Step at Vanderbilt, a StoryCorps Initiative, to learn how conversations across differences can build a stronger Vanderbilt community and participate in a One Small Step conversation with other attendees.

    Anchor Down with Athletics

    Join members of Vanderbilt athletics for a facility tour, including the newly opened Huber Center in the north end zone of FirstBank Stadium, which serves as the operations and practice facility for Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball teams.

    Prior to our morning session, join friends and new connections for breakfast and custom coffee and teas.

  • Daring to Grow

    9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
    Student Life Center, Ballroom A/B

    Join us for an engaging morning with university leadership, highlighting Vanderbilt’s impact and the important role you play in it as we dare to grow together. 

    Confirmed speakers and topics include:

    • Major Jackson, Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing, and Gertrude Conway Vanderbilt Chair in the Humanities
    • Dialogue Vanderbilt and Civil Discourse, featuring students from the Vanderbilt Debate Team and faculty members John Koch, Director of Debate and ML Sandoz, Director of Forensics and Dialogue Vanderbilt
    • Growth Initiatives, including Vanderbilt in West Palm Beach and New York City ...and more being added!
  • Breakout Meetings

  • Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball vs. Missouri (Optional Activity)

    5:00 p.m.
    Location: Memorial Gym 

    Cheer on the Commodores against Missouri in Memorial Gym. 

    Tickets are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets in our group block are currently SOLD OUT. If we acquire additional tickets, we will share this with registrants. Individuals may purchase tickets through Vanderbilt Athletics online.
