Rings in the Tower
234 Stairs, One Vanderbilt.
Kirkland Tower is the most iconic building on campus and holds a special place in the hearts of students and alumni alike. At the end of each semester we hold our Rings in the Tower ceremony, where class rings are taken up into the tower by the Senior President of our Student Alumni Board. The rings are locked away in the tower to spend the night and retrieved the following morning, then handed out to students on the steps of Kirkland Hall.
Life After Vanderbilt Series
The Life After Vanderbilt event series launched in spring 2014 to bring to life the annual Life After Vanderbilt Guide, which offers real advice from young alumni to seniors to help them "conquer and prevail" after graduation. We're here to help seniors navigate their next steps with first jobs, grad school, and new cities - and help connect you to YOUR global alumni community!
Student Alumni Board
The Student Alumni Board (SAB) is a team of students specific to each class who design and implement (with the help of an adviser from the Office of Alumni Relations) the class building/alumni involvement activities for each undergraduate class. SAB has four boards-one for each class.
Legends Tour
Brought to you by your Student Alumni Board and Vanderbilt University Theatre. Join us for an autumn tour of Vanderbilt's ghosts, urban legends, and rich history.
Squirrel Appreciation Day
We all see them every day, hiding around campus and popping out of the most random places. Each January we take a moment to celebrate our furry friends on campus with a day full of themed fun and treats.
Commodores in the Community
Annual event held each spring in which our alumni come together in cities across the country to complete a service project in their community.

Welcome Parties - Each year we host happy hours in cities across the U.S. to welcome our newest graduates to their new homes. Previous cities include: Atlanta, NYC, D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Nashville, Houston, San Francisco and Charlotte.
