An Unintended Effect of Technology

Our quest in constructing technologies has always been related to our desire to extend ourselves over time and space. Ideally we are constructing ways to extend ourselves in a quest for immortality, but in order to do this, we must expel dead body parts. Once you are immortal, outside of the physical, you are outside the binaries of Good and Evil – outside of all these meanings we create for ourselves. The unintended effect of our want for immortality is the death of humans.
