A genetic divider
 

 


Conrad: If society gains the ability to choose the total genetic make up of future children, how will those children be expected to behave?  Parents can choose the genes that make up that child, but they cannot control the forces of nature to ensure that those choices will be realized.  How will a parent react if the child is not as smart as they were chosen to be smart although the parents had specifically screened women whose SAT scores and IQ s were phenomenally high?
