Conrad: Upon returning to the
earlier point made on the definition of intelligence, no one can surely define
an intelligent society. By concretely
defining it, intelligence could possibly be another human attribute that will
be the basis for discrimination – much more so than it is today. Civilizations garner no more success than
the people who live in it believe they can achieve.

Promethia: The third main point is that
the higher the level of civilization, the better off the population. This statement explains why people from
countries of low-level civilization continually risk their lives to try to
escape into countries of high-level civilization. People who live in countries of high-level civilization are
usually happier because the population is well off. These people can enjoy better education, better medical care,
less crime, better food, better jobs, better homes, and a longer life on
average (Vancourt).
