Tutor Collaboration Day 2016
On Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 9:00-3:00, the Vanderbilt University Writing Studio is proud to host Tutor Collaboration Day 2016, sponsored by the Southeastern Writing Center Association.
Writing Center tutors, staff, and administrators will come to join with their peers to share knowledge and join in collaborative discussions about the theory, practical applications, challenges, and opportunities of tutoring students at all levels in writing.
Event location: Buttrick Hall,* Vanderbilt University
(*Please note we’ve relocated from the Writing Studio to a larger space to accommodate larger than expected registration numbers.)
Event Parking: Guests attending this event may park in non-reserved zone 2 spaces in the Wesley Place Garage (2043 Scarritt Pl, Nashville, TN 37203). These spaces begin on the 3rd floor (elevators are available to street level).
Walking directions from event parking: Once you exit the garage on foot turn left and continue down Scarritt Place across 21st Avenue onto campus. Continue straight, eventually up a set of stairs onto Library Lawn (you’ll pass the library on your left). Again continue in the same direction up the hill and Buttrick Hall is at the other end of the lawn.
