At the beginning of each spring semester the Writing Studio solicits nominations from faculty for students to work as undergraduate writing consultants. Your nominations are essential to helping us connect with the best possible future consultants.
Good candidates for the position are thoughtful academic writers who produce strong essays and have the ability to engage in constructive dialogue about writing with their peers. Candidates should also be intellectually curious and professional.
While some successful candidates only apply after being nominated, each year we receive strong applications from interested students who solicit nominations from their instructors. Thank you for nominating qualified students including those who approach you about doing so.
Deadline for Nominations: Friday, February 12, 2016
Faculty Nomination Form
Nominations may be submitted using the form below or emailed to Kristen Sullivan, Writing Studio Office Administrator (firstname.lastname@example.org).
After receiving a nomination and in order to be considered for an interview, applicants for consultant positions submit an application letter along with two writing samples. More information about the position and application process available here.
