In addition to the resources provided below, both International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and Vanderbilt University International Services and International Tax (VISIT) provide a great deal of support for dependants, including spouses, partners and other family members.
In the State of Tennessee, children of school age must be enrolled in school. Public schools and private schools both exist within Tennessee and contact information for both kinds of schools, as well as information about daycare and preschool for younger children, is available below.

All Vanderbilt faculty, staff, researchers, and students are offered access to the healthcare facilities at Vanderbilt, and may purchase coverage for spouses or same sex/gender domestic partners, and eligible children from birth to 26 years of age.
