Vanderbilt professor Dr. Laurence Zwiebel is the focus of a new Grand Challenge video produced by the Gates Foundation. Zwiebel's lab was the recipient of a health and giving grant that supported his dream of eradicating malaria . Thanks to the grant, Zwiebel and his team of researchers discovered a novel compound that repels insects by overloading their olfactory systems. Watch the video below.
